This morning (Wednesday, about 9am) I saw a single Peregrine Falcon
perched on the westernmost of the two radio towers at Pt Isabel. It was
about halfway up the tower. I was following up on the sighting made
yesterday by Doug Greenberg. Thanks! FYI, Pt Isabel is near the Central
Avenue Exit off 80 or 580 in Richmond/Albany, next to the Costco.
There was also a Clark's grebe in the water nearby, along with scaups and
buffleheads.

> I don't see these birds much mentioned in sitings. Over the winter months there have been two pair of Cinnamon Teal at the Damon Slough Mitigation Area adjacent to Garrettson Point in Oakland off the 880 South Zhone Way exit. Make a right at the exit to a parking area less than one block from the exit and walk over the bridge visible from the lot to the Mitigation Area.

> I last saw them this afternoon, Monday. There are also more common visitors there including Pintail, Shovelers, Gadwalls, and the ever-present Mallards and gulls, Black-necked Stilts, etc. It's popular resting place.
>
> Also in the reeds fronting the creek that the bridge crosses, I have in the past seen a Clapper Rail so keep an eye out.
