Today on Patterson Pass Road at VIA Nicolo Rd. near 4 PM there were two
Ferruginous Hawk on the ground in the north field.
Near 4:45 PM I was searching the bare trees in Pleasanton Aquatic Pk for
this years Coppers Hawks nest.
Instead I found a Male Coppers Hawk in the Italian Alder Trees near the
children's play area.
B4 birding Patterson Pass I made a trip to Woodbridge Ecological
Preserve off of HY 5.
There are many Sand Hill Cranes, Tundra Swans, White Fronted Geese,
Aleutian and Crackling Geese all in good volume.
