Today I found 20 Horned Larks in the plowed field on the corner of =
Raymond and Dagnino. This is the first time I've recorded Horned Lark in =
the Livermore Valley. The larks where associating with a small group of =
American Pipits. This field also contained about 1000 gulls sleeping and =
preening. Later I found one Prairie Falcon off North Flynn Rd soaring =
around the spinning windmill blades. Frick Lake is filling with water =
but found only 8 Killdeer. Good birding and Happy New Year.
