    EastBayBirders,

We didn't see the slate-colored Dark-eyed Junco, but the WHITE-THROATED
SPARROW continued at Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline at midday today. It and
a large mixed flock of crowned sparrows were feeding across the street from
the first paved parking lot at the edge of some brambles where a sign reads
    "Overnight Parking Prohibited."

In the trees between the parking lot and the pond we had RED-BREASTED
SAPSUCKER, TOWNSEND'S WARBLER, and RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET. At the pond we saw
both RED-BREASTED and COMMON MERGANSER, LEAST SANDPIPER, MARBLED GODWIT, and
a surprising variety of other birds.
