I heard and saw a Calif. Thrasher on the upper Stawberry Cyn, Berkeley fire road this morning. I first heard it a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard Thrashers in past springs, on my daily runs there. Also singing were Winter Wrens and Wren Tits. I saw and heard a male Rufous Hummingbird that sat still long enough for me to get a good look.

Around 9:30, the Palm Warbler was present working among the Cherry blossoms in E-ville on 62nd near Hollis. The only other Warblers I could find was a small flock of Yellow-rumps. One very bright male.
