[EBB Sightings] Scatology

I was biking near downtown Berkeley today when several birds flew
overhead making alarm calls.? I was unfortunately not able to look up
or even properly hear them as I was distracted by oncoming vehicles at
that very same moment.? However, one of them made a proposal
(so-to-speak), and left a dropping on my left ring finger.? I spent
the next 5 blocks pedaling while examining the poop.? It was purple
and berry like, so I'm guessing they had berries for lunch.? Was it
maybe a robin?? Cedar waxwing?? Thrush?? Are there too many
berry-eating birds in the Bay Area to make a guess as to who could
have left that special gift for me?? I'm just curious.? :)
