    EB Birders:

    Today, February 15, my husband and I saw a tan-striped White-throated
Sparrow in with some Golden-crowned Sparrows in the bushes behind the
Education Barn at Sunol Regional Wilderness Park, Fremont, in the late
morning. It responded to "pishing" and perched on a low open branch about
two feet above the ground behind a large sycamore tree for several minutes.
"Pishing" also brought up a male Varied Thrush which came up from the lower
bushes to perch briefly back in the shadows up high on a limb behind one of
    the other smaller buildings.

    Good birding!
