[EBB Sightings] White-throated Sparrow at Lake Merritt/Lakeside Park

A couple of weeks ago AJ Burgess and I caught a couple of glimpses of a
nervous bird hiding in the brush. We pieced together our observations and
concluded the LBJ was a White-throated Sparrow, but not with enough
certainty to tally it. Yesterday, I removed any lingering doubt. A
White-throated Sparrow was hanging with numerous Golden-crowned Sparrows in
the shrubbery along the fence on the westerly edge of Fairyland. This is the
same area we made our observations a couple of weeks ago.
