I went to Oakland yesterday to view the continuing Gray Flycatcher and Palm
Warbler. From my car I phoned the Rare Bird Alert after the second of my
sightings. While reading the transcription of the RBA message this morning,
I see that my message was incorrectly transcribed.

The Gray Flycatcher was seen in Knowland Park as the phone message states.
The Palm Warbler continues near the D'Anna Marina/Portobello pine trees
along the estuary. This portion of my message was deleted in the
transcription. Also present at this same site, were the continuing
    Red-breasted Nuthatch and a Townsend's Warbler.

It took less than 10 minutes to walk from my parking spot, view the Gray
Flycatcher and return to my car. I spent more than an hour searching for
the Palm Warbler, walking variously from the KTVU building to the flag pole
area in front of the marina. The Palm Warbler was seen for about 5 seconds
and I spent another half-hour or so attempting to re-find it. I never did.

That's the way it goes sometimes.
