[EBB Sightings] Lewis's Woodpecker at Briones

Hi Birders.

Around l:00 pm, I saw the bird?fly into a Valley Oak along?the Orchard Trail, about midway between Old Briones Rd. and the Alhambra Creek Trail.? The pink belly and contrast between the relatively dark head and light nape were distinctive, even at a distance.? Before I knew it, I had looked away, and the bird was gone.
I don't think these birds are seen often at Briones though I'm not sure just how uncommon they are.
