While out hiking today with a couple of friends, on the Broines Crest Trail
above the Sindicich Lagoon area we came upon three Horned Larks.  Also found
in Broines today were a couple of Northern Harriers, many Western Blue
Birds, a couple of White Tailed Kite's, and several large flocks of Meadow
Larks and lots of cows. It was very cold and foggy for most of our ten mile
hike but we had a good time and really enjoyed seeing the Horned Larks who
were very close to us and provided great views.
