    On this morning's GGAS 4th-Wednesday walk, we saw a very strange bird: A 
    light-colored Black-crowned Night-Heron. The bird had the long white 
    plumes of an adult and none of the streaking of a juvenile, but the 
    areas that should be black were a sort of dull medium brown, and the 
    ones that should be gray had a few gray feathers and a lot of fawn ones.
    
    The bird was perched on the area boxed with tall chain-link fencing on 
    the Bellevue side of the bird paddock.
    
    Seen anything like it?
