[EBB Sightings] River Otters at Jewel Lake

Dear Friends:

This morning Bethany Facendini, the naturalist at Tilden and Beth Newman, a GGAS member emailed me to report that four river otters have appeared at Jewel Lake.  According to Bethany they spent the morning fishing and frolicking and then hauled out for a nap under the willows along the west side of the Lake.

Big question.  How did they get there?!!!

Leaving will be a challenge with a dam at one end and not much of a stream at the other.  Confounding!
