[EBB Sightings] Lake del Valle Bald Eagles

Hi Birders-

Two hours at the Lake del Valle this morning did not turn up any Red-naped 
type Sapsuckers at either end of the bridge. There were one Downy 
Woodpecker, a couple of full Red-breasted Sapsuckers, a few Flickers, and 
several Acorn Woodpeckers. After that I drove over to the boat launch and 
walked the half mile to the bench where directly across the lake were two 
adult Bald Eagle in a pine near the top of the hill. Turns out the tree and 
birds were also visible from the top of the first rise after the boat ramp 
and later from the road south of the entrance station.
