[EBB Sightings] Glaucous gull in Fremont

MessageAt 11:30 this morning on the boat float in Lake Elizabeth (in front 
of the visitors' information center, near Paseo Padre) was a GLAUCOUS GULL, 
I think first cycle but conceivably second.  Very clear distinguishing 
traits, e.g. pale pinkish bill with clearly demarcated very dark tip.

On December 28 three cackling geese were mixed in with a bunch of local 
Canada geese at the north end of Central Park.  From photos I am comfortable 
with two ALEUTIAN; the third looks reasonable for RIDGWAY'S but I am not 
certain.
