[EBB Sightings] Shadow Cliff Regional Park - Bird Sightings

On a short trip of about two hours today the following birds were sighted at
Shadow Cliff Regional Park in Pleasanton.

Robin
Golden Crowned Sparrow
Osprey
Canadian Geese
Kingfisher
Red Shoulder Hawks (one feasting on something high up in a tree)
Northern Flicker (who posed for ten minutes in all his colors) 
Mallards
Coots
Moorhen
Dove
Finch
Gadwall
Say's Phoebe
Blue Jay
Brandt's Cormorant
Bufflehead
White Breasted Nuthatch
California Towhee
But the highlight of the outing was a male and female Hooded Merganser
(simply beautiful to look at)
