    We had a Slate-colored Junco this afternoon at one of our feeders.  It  
    was with a mixed flock of the typical winter feeder birds.  It was  
    only the second one I've seen here in the last few years. . .
    
    Also as I was driving east on Sycamore Valley Road in Danville, I  
    spotted a Snowy Egret precariously perched on the wires.  I don't  
    recall ever seeing an egret on wires before.  Then as I was driving  
    west a few minutes later, I spotted a Belted Kingfisher at about the  
    same spot.
    
    Also in Danville, the crows adjacent to the Big O tires have been  
    putting on a show for at least a week now.  They take walnuts high up  
    on the wires and drop them onto the road below in hopes of cracking
