The fairly big high tide today at Arrowhead flushed out Savannah's, Yellow-throats, Virginia's along with the usual crowd of Willets and others on the pier.
    ?
This Savannah finally went back to the marsh as the tide was ebbing:

    It's perched on a Sativa.

    An observation:

I don't know if this Sativa grass is the so-called invasive hybrid.

But, elsewhere, I've heard from an expert that the herbicide they are using to "control" the invasive is indiscriminate and kills almost all plants.

Has anyone else noticed that the water grasslands at Elsie Roemer in Alameda are completely gone? As well, the shoreline of Bay Farm Island, it is now all mud...and eroding. These are only two examples in my area.

As an endangered species (the Clapper) was present in each and the eradication proceded nonetheless, I fear Arrowhead is a big...next.
