At noon today, high tide, I saw 1 white-winged scoter near the western point of the rocky island. The oiled scoter was still on the rocks, so I called OWCN & luckily got through to qualified people who took my report. I Headed back to my car and ran into two OWCN rescuers with big nets responding to Kathy's original report. I showed them the scoter. They were going to get a Zodiac and collect the duck. Would have loved to watch but had to get to work.
