    1) Calaveras Road, Last 2 Weeks, 2 miles east of I-680 near Sunol and Sunol Regional Park
    
    - LINCOLN'S SPARROW (daily)
    
    - BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER (1, vocalizing, 10/29/09)
    
    - COOPER'S HAWK (1, 10/26-10/28/09)
    
    2) Emery Park/SF Bay: Berkeley Shoreline, Berkeley, CA  11/4/09

    With mudflat exposed yesterday from 4pm - dusk, I used my scope to note:
    
    - HERRING GULL (1)
    
    (Not too surprising because it's a non-breeding resident, but never usually in large numbers in my experience).
    
    Best of the rest:
    
    - GREATER SCAUP (large raft of 40-45 individuals)
    
    - BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER (Sorry, could not turn into Pac.-Golden Plover...:-)...)
