    Hi EBBer's,

Today I remembered to bring my binocs while I jogged part way around the
reservoir. And I happened by just when a flock of Gadwalls came in and
landed in the northwest corner. Also spotted a juvenile Spotted Sandpiper
(I noted the yellowish legs) foraging around the shoreline. And finally I
observed the usual suspects: about half dozen Coots, several Mallards,
Cormorants, and 2 pairs each of Pied-billed Grebes, and Buffleheads diving
repeatedly. On my way out, I observed a mixed flock of Bluebirds,
Yellow-rumped Warblers, House Finches, and Goldfinches, all foraging on the
green hillside formed by the dam (also recorded a Black Phoebe perched in a
pine tree). I may have missed some species as I didn't get all the way
around the reservoir (didn't have enough cash for the meter!).
