[EBB Sightings] Hooded Mergansers - Iron Horse Trail, Concord

At least one male and two female Hooded Mergansers have returned to 
their wintering area in the actual creek named "Walnut Creek" near 
highway 680 in Concord.  They can be seen from the Iron Horse bike trail 
about half way between Monument Blvd and the 680/242 interchange.  The 
standard herons, egrets, and kingfishers were also there along with 
about 25 Turkey Vultures on the ground apparently looking for victims of 
Tuesday's flood.
