Shortly after seeing the fledgling this afternoon I had the largest influx ever of different bird species in 10 minutes. 19 in all. The usual urban suspects along with Orange-Crown and yellow-rump Warblers and a seldom seen Bewicks Wren. The only usual suspects that didn't seem to make the party were Oak Titmouse and Mourning doves! The Wren was around in the melee briefly and disappeared. A couple of hours later I noticed it was back taking a bath, unbothered. Even the ever possessive Black Phoebe was not around at that moment.
