On our hike today on the East Side of Briones Reservoir (about 8 miles
total) some of the birds spotted included the following.

Canada Goose, Pied-Billed Grebe's, Double-crested Cormorant, Great Blue
Heron, White Tailed Kite, American Kestrel, American Coot, Black Phoebe,
Say's Phoebe, various Jays, a Ruby-crowned Kinglet which stayed on a branch
about 5 feet in front of us as if on display, and many Towhee's, Sparrow's,
Finch's.   It was a beautiful day to be out hiking by the lake and being
able to see all these birds plus many others.
