    Hi birders,

Today I found two tan-striped WHITE-THROATED SPARROWs at Coyote Hills
Regional Park in Fremont. They were hanging around the front of the visitors'
center near the tule hut. They were not skittish and allowed close
approach. Unlike my previous experience with this species, they were not in a
larger flock of Zonotrichias -- there was only one Golden-crowned Sparrow in
    the immediate area.

Also seen in the area of the visitors' center/butterfly garden were
several Golden-crowned Kinglets, and one each Townsend's, Black-throated Gray,
    and Orange-crowned Warblers.

    Good birding,
