This afternoon I searched the area around Point Isabel Regional Shoreline Trail between Marina Bay Parkway and Marina Bay Trail in Richmond for migrants. I only found one Yellow Warbler among the resident birds. The real surprise was at Meeker Slough with three adult Clapper Rails leisurely walking and probing the exposed mud, not together, and two chicks about half the size of the adults. The two chicks were still covered in black down and I did not see an adult with them. I ran back to my car to get my camera but only got photos of what seems to be a juvenile.
I found two adults after that, but not the chicks.

Below is the link to photos of one the juvenile.
