    Hi all;

    As of this afternoon at 5 PM, the American Redstart is still present at the Emeryville Marina. The bird was very actively feeding in the poplar trees surrounding the fire pit, on the marina side of the peninsula. It then flew into the pines, and continued to actively feed. It's very vocal, and I was able to locate it from the persistent chip note. I watched it for 30 minutes, until the rain became heavy at 5:30. It's quite a beautiful bird. A Yellow Warbler and a Pac Slope Flycatcher were also in the area.

    Follow Judith Dunham's excellent directions to the Emeryville Marina. The location is past the Chinese restaurant. Follow the road around to the right and park in one of the lots near the end. The poplar trees and pines are on the marina side.
