[EBB Sightings] Alameda Creek--Saturday, 9/26

Hi All,

On Saturday morning, I birded Alameda Creek from the Isherwood Staging Area and then from the end of 3rd St. in Niles. Nothing rare to report, but it was nice to see so many White-crowned Sparrows have returned. The water level west of the inflatable dam in Niles is still?fairly high, with just a few shorebirds present.?Most notable were as follows:

--Isherwood ?Staging Area (including the Quarry Lakes side of the trail)--

HOUSE WREN (2)
YELLOW WARBLER (1)
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER (1)
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (30)

--3rd Street in Niles--
AMERICAN WIGEON (7)
GREATER YELLOWLEGS (3)
BELTED KINGFISHER (1)
