[EBB Sightings] black-headed grosbeak returns

Starting yesterday (Sunday) I've had a female black-headed grosbeak at  
my feeder near Wildcat Canyon Park, Richmond.  This is only noteworthy  
because our regular summer grosbeaks have been absent for several weeks.

Also, a very delayed sighting- WESTERN TANAGERS (1M 1F) at the Park  
Avenue entrance to Wildcat Canyon park on August 2.  I was wondering  
whether these were early migrants or if there breeding tanagers in the  
berkeley hills (guess I need to find myself a copy of the BB atlas!).
