[EBB Sightings] Hooded Orioles - Concord

Hi. With regard to my previous post noting Hooded Orioles, I apologize for
not including the location of the sighting. I live in Concord close to Farm
Bureau Rd between Willow Pass and Concord Blvd. For those less familiar with
Concord, I am not that far from Pixie land and/or the Naval Weapons Station.


Don Lewis responded to my first post and mentioned that the females and
first year hooded orioles look similar. He suggested that I may have seen a
female and her two kids. He is probably correct. 

Yesterday was August 25th and the female or first year birds were still
draining the hummingbird feeder. I have not seen a male in awhile.
