Last June, Stephanie Ellis, then with SFBBO, wrote this about the flamingo.

Also, maps of salt ponds?the best maps I have found are here:

Hi. I have some info about the Coyote Hills flamingo that may be of
    interest...
Since 2005, the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory has conducted
monthly?salt pond surveys at Coyote Hills. We?have observed this flamingo
at?a contiguous group of salt ponds immediately south of the Alameda flood
channel virtually every month since October 2005 (per Michael Mammoser).?
    ?
In October of 2005, the Chilean Flamingo was seen on pond N3A every month
    until January of 2006.
In January of 2006 the flamingo was seen on pond?N4AA until March of 2007.?
In March of 2007 the flamingo moved to pond N2A and was seen there until
September of 2007 when it moved to N1A.
We?continue to see this flamingo monthly on pond N1A.
    ?
    What a spectacular bird!
    ?
    Good birding :)

This is my first posting to EBB. I had posted EBB area posting to SBB and
never realized the mistake until pointed out by a member.

I spent Saturday morning at Coyote Hills Reserve. The Common
Moorhen reported earlier on Thursday (at Chochenyo and Muskrat Trails
    intersection pond on
right side) could not be found today.

The Male Common Yellowthroat was still active along the Marsh overlook
    boardwalk off the Muskrat trail

The highlight was a Flamingo sighted in the Bay next to Pelican Trail at
    Coyote Hills Reserve.

Following is the link to my recent pictures where the Common Moorhen,
Yellowthroats and Flamingo pictures are posted.
