[EBB Sightings] American Robin collecting mud

A couple of weeks ago, we observed an adult female Robin collecting a  
beaksful of mud which had formed at the base of one of our  
birdbaths.  We were fully aware that the Robin's nest consists of a  
cup of mud, but we had never observed the adult bird actually  
procuring the mud and flying off with it.
