In May, four of them flew over the corner of Cedar and San Pablo heading southeastward. This is the same number we saw make the same flight at approximately the same time (circa 3 pm) in April. On that occasion, a neighborhood homeless guy told us they frequently hang out in the conifers northwest of the gas station on that corner.

In 2007, we were at a potluck at 9th & Delaware when a couple of them flew over. One of the residents told us they had successfully fledged two young "last spring", which we took from context to mean 2006, though it might have been 2007.
