    Hi E.B. Birders,
    
    There was a single male Red-necked Phalarope on Upper San Leandro Reservoir in Moraga this morning.
    
    Friday and Saturday, around 7:00 am both mornings, there was a Spotted Sandpiper on the walkway at edge of the cement pond at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek. There was also a singing Yellow Warbler on one of the islands in the natural lake on Thursday. 
    
    I recorded the dawn chorus again near Inspiration Point in Tilden Reg. Park on Saturday, too.? There were more vocalizations this time around than last week when it was raining (and it was much more fun). I was able to catch a bit of the rhythmic dawn song of Western Bluebird before sunrise both weekends, which I never heard anytime after 6:00 am.
