Highlights of the Sibley Regional Park GGAS walk this morning were a Pygmy Nuthatch nest and a Pacific Slope Flycatcher nest. The Nuthatch nest was in a woodpecker hole in a Eucalyptus snag. The Flycatcher nest is at the ranger residence next to the parking lot. There's an awning over the front door. The nest is under that awning. So if you'd like the chance to see Western Slope.... er Pacific Slope Flycatchers well, this is the time.

Other species include several singing Lazuli Buntings (both first year birds and fully blue ones) and singing Lark Sparrow. We got skunked on Rufous-crowned and Grasshopper Sparrow.

One remarkable sight was an Am Kestrel being mobbed by about 10 Hummingbirds.
