On a Chickadee Club walk this morning we found a ruby-crowned kinglet in the oak tree by the turnaround in the parking lot.

This is the latest that I have ever seen this bird.  McCaskie shows them to be very rare this late in the season.

The green heron continues at Jewel Lake.
