Read the last few digests and figured I should catch up on my sightings.

approx 2 weeks ago- Rough-winged Swallow new yard bird for me (just
north of El Cerrito border near Wildcat Canyon RP). My feeder is in
summer mode with Black-headed grosbeaks, purple finch, house finch,
morning dove, am and lesser goldfinches.

Fri May 15, Park Ave near WC Canyon entrance (Richmond). Chestnut-
backed Chickadee nest under some house eves started fledging. Calling
Olive-sided Flycatcher heard. A few days later, Black Phoebe
fledglings showed up in this yard.

Last night- saw adult White-crowned Sparrow stuck in the PetsMart
store at Hilltop in Richmond (Richmond Pkwy exit off of 80). I don't
remember seeing any in the parking lot. Maybe this guy fell in love
    with a budgie.

This morning- Martinez Amtrak station. At least 4 Caspian Terns flew
overhead. Over the past few weeks I've had extremely close looks at
some bushtits there foraging in the small ornamental trees at the
    station.

    Good birding,
    Alan
