[EBB Sightings] Garin Quail -pic

Tried for the Calliope- nope.  

Otherwise Jordan Pond is quite active with Red-Winged Blackbirds courting and nest-building.  Their calls fill the air. 

Did manage a pretty picture of a California Quail. They are almost always foraging at the north end of the northern parking lot just before the beginning of the path.  The flock numbered about 15 and this guy seemed to be standing watch from a fence rail.
