    Seen at the shoreline today:

Eurasian Wigeon - 1 in Frank's Dump East near Sulfur Creek. I have only 2 later records at the shoreline. The latest was 4-27-07 in the same spot.

Peregrine Falcon - 1 near the Interpretive Center. This only the 15th time I have seen on in April.

Pacific-slope Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave. This is the 5th earliest record. Of these, 3 were in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1 at Winton Ave. is later than normal.

Warbling Vireo - 1 at Winton Ave. (found by Bob Dunn). I only have 2 earlier records at the shoreline.

Yellow Warbler - 1 near Frank's Dump East. Is slightly over 3 weeks earlier than the next earliest on 4-27-84.

Black-throated Gray Warbler - 1 female across Winton Ave. from the Park Office. This is only the second spring record I have for the shoreline. The other was 4-10-92.

Fox Sparrow - 1 at Winton Ave. Normally common here, they have been rare so far this year. Possibly a Slate-colored Fox Sparow.

Bullock's Oriole - 1 at Winton Ave. (found by Bob Dunn).

    Good Birding
