    This afternoon at about 4:10 PM, I saw a female red-necked Phalarope in breeding plumage swimming in Lake Temescal. It was near the dam outlet.  When walking on the bank just to the west of the outlet where there a clear view down to the lake, it was just outside the yellow rope marking the swimming area swimming quickly in circles (spinning) in its characteristic manner. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera with me as it was very close.
