    Seen today at the shoreline -
    
    Whimbrel - 1 seen in Frank's Dump West was the first one I have seen at the shoreline this year.
    
    Lesser Yellowlegs - 1 seen near the city ponds. This is only the second one I have seen at the shoreline this year.
    
    Red-necked Phalarope - hundreds. Most were in Hayward Marsh but some were in the city ponds.
    
    Least Tern - 7 to 10. 4 to 7 were seen in Frank's Dump West and 3 were seen in Hayward Marsh. I only have seen them earlier at the shoreline two times - 4/24/99 and 4/24/08. Peter has seen them earlier a few times.
    
    Black Skimmer - 2 were seen on an island in Hayward Marsh. I have only seen them earlier at the shoreline two times - 4/24/00 and 4/23/01. Peter has a few earlier records including one in mid Feb.
    
    Vaux Swift - 6 seen migratig north from near Winton Ave.
