You won't believe this but it's true:  As I was gassing up at the Chevron 
station at Treat and Oak Grove Blvds, a very busy intersection in Concord, 
about 6 full grown turkeys strutted right up to my car and seemed to be 
inspecting the gas pumps!!  They had no fear whatsoever of being this close 
to vehicles and busy people all around them. They were nowhere near their 
normal habitat.
