Driving to work yesterday at 8:45 AM north along San Pablo Dam Road, 2 raptors caught my eye as I was stopped at the light at Castro Ranch Road.  I was able to spy on them easily after rolling down the driver's side window: an osprey in hot pursuit of an adult Bald Eagle, heading west.  They were far below the circling TVs, a common sight in that area.

Bald Eagle is a first in 20 years of driving that road to work from Oakland.  Nice way to start the day.
