    A? posting for Jim Chiropolos:

Approximately 15 Least terns were seen feeding in the bay off the Emeryville Watergate Apartment Boardwalk for the first time this year. Also noteworthy was a pelagic cormorant off Powell Street by the fire station and two pelagic cormorants were roosting on the breakwater which is the extension of the Emeryville fishing pier at the end of Powell Street (a consistent roosting spot for pelagic cormorants in the east bay).

On Wednesday, one Brandt?s Cormorant was present in a group of 80 plus Western/Clarks Grebes, several double crested cormorants and Fosters Terns feeding on a boil of fish off the Watergate Emeryville Boardwalk.

Derek's note: This afternoon I believe I had my first ever home sighting of Vaux's Swifts as a handful flew quickly by heading north.
