[EBB Sightings] Wood Ducks in downtown Walnut Creek

Since I had biked downtown doing errands, I decided to check the creeks 
there.  In Las Trampas Creek behind the Trader Joe's on California 
Boulevard, I found two pairs of common Mergansers, along with Canada Geese 
and Mallards.  I saw a couple of Mallards behind the Sweet Affair across the 
street.

In San Ramon Creek, just south of Newell Avenue and Macy's, I found a couple 
of Wood Ducks.  There are several parking lots in this area for the offices 
behind the St. Paul Cleaners, which is also on the south side of Newell 
Avenue.  I saw no ducks in the creek between Newell and Macy's.

I guess the creek is Walnut Creek only after the confluence of Las Trampas 
and San Ramon Creeks.  This is now hidden underneath the Broadway shopping 
area.
