[EBB Sightings] Alameda County Brown Thrasher 3-15-2009

Second try was a success.

I arrived at about 10 AM when someone called all of us over the to the small
group of willows directly across from the first parking lot you come to
after passing the entrance kiosk.  Viewing through the think piles of poison
oak twigs was nearly impossible, but after at least a dozen tries I finally
saw the bird thrashing through the leaves between the twigs.

The Coyotes Hills Brown Thrasher was first reported on 2-13-2009, looked for
on the following day by some but never seen or reported again until
3-9-2009.

The San Mateo County Cloverdale Brown Thrasher was last seen/reported on
2-2-2009.
