Around Livermore today, seen by myself and my daughters Lisa Clowdus and Lori Morris:

A pair of Redheads in the pond north of the Wente Winery Coffee Shop, reached by entering the main Wente Winery entrance on Arroyo Road and keeping to the left. Probably the same pair seen in the pond on Arroyo Road, the last few weeks.

An Orange-crowned Warbler, across the creek from the main picnic area at Veterans Park.

A Barn Owl in a nest hole in the old wooden structure across the street from 2356 Vintage Road, in the neighborhood north of Concannon Road and east of Arroyo Road.

A Great Horned Owl, sitting in a nest near the top of a tall Eucalyptus tree over the main residence at the Murrieta's Well Winery on Mines Road 0.3 miles south of Tesla Avenue. It is most easily seen from the middle of the big open area beteen the residence and te horse corral.

Several Eurasian Collared Doves, on Mines Road near mile marker 1.65. Up to 35 have been seen there lately. A life bird for Lisa.

Two American White Pelicans in Del Valle Lake, seen from the picnic areas between the entrance both and the boat ramp.

Several Tree Swallows flying over Lake Del Valle, Several Tree Swallows werr also present at Shadow Cliffs Park on Stanley Blvd. yesterday.

    God Birding,
