[EBB Sightings] Graylag Geese?

Today I saw?a flock of over 20 geese along the banks of the connector canal from Lake Merritt to the Oakland Estuary (between Oakland & Alameda). They were?viewable from the Embarcadero bridge that parallels I-880. The banks are adjacent to Estuary Park.

At first I thought I thought there were?some Greater White-fronted geese, but I think these were of?the domesticated Graylag breed. If they are a domestic breed it seems odd that there would be so many of them in one spot. Are the Graylags now breeding in the wild?
