Around 4:00 PM today I stopped at Kennedy Grove Regional Park. The next bird I saw after the ubiquitous juncos was a very bright Orange-crowned Warbler. At the intersection of Laurel Loop Trail and Kennedy Creek Trail Fox and Song Sparrows popped up to a quick pish and there were Varied Thrushes singing from at least three directions. The Steller's Jays were having a major discussion of something. Higher up, along the south side of the Black Oak Loop Trail, I saw six Wild Turkeys.

The trails were very muddy and hiking poles were very helpful. I took a photo of multiple motorcycle tracks next to the sign saying "No Motorcycles". Those things can really tear up a trail!

    Good Birding!
