[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline (03/26)

Seen today at the Hayward Shoreline -

Black Scoter - 1 female north of Hayward's Landing.

Lesser Yellowlegs - 1, the first I have seen this year at the shoreline.

Caspian Tern - estimated 110 at the mouth of San Lorenzo Creek. The first this year was on 3-8-09. This is the most I have seen in March and the earliest I have seen over 100.

Great Horned Owl - 1 at Grant Ave. This is probably the one that Bob Dunn found on 3-21-09. The last one that I saw here was 11-8-99.

Lesser Goldfinch - 1 on the east sideof Ora Loma Marsh. This is only the 27th record I have for the shoreline.
